Thomas Vanover

Thomas E. Vanover, 64, of Hamden, passed away Monday, November 23, 2020, at his residence.  He was born October 21, 1956, in Wyandotte, Michigan, son of Guy E. Vanover of McArthur and Barbara Watters Vanover of Taylor, Michigan.

Tom retired from Great Lakes Steel in Michigan and was a United States Marine and Vietnam War Veteran.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his daughter, Natalie Larkins of Wyandotte, Michigan; grandchildren, Samantha and Kennie; sister, Terri Lollini of Wyandotte, Michigan; nephew, John Lollini of Brownstown, Michigan; nieces, Mary Lollini of Wyandotte, Michigan and Toni Lollini of Woodhaven, Michigan; great nieces, Kaylee and Skylar Lollini and Anabella Charles and stepmother, Molly Vanover of McArthur.

A graveside service will be held 10 a.m., Thursday, December 3, 2020, in Elk Cemetery, McArthur, with Pastor Harrison Starr officiating.  Military graveside services will be conducted by the McArthur VFW Post #5299.  No calling hours will be observed.

Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.
