Tommy Lee Stewart

Tommy Lee Stewart, 68, of Londonderry, passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe.  He was born March 21, 1954, in Vinton County, Ohio, son of the late Burman Stewart Sr. and Virginia Waldren McClaskey.  Tommy was married for 28 years to Sandra Snyder Stewart, who survives.

He was a retired truck driver and United States Air Force Veteran.  Tommy was a lifetime member and past Commander of the Chillicothe American Legion Post #757, a member of the McArthur Eagles AERIE #2279, the Palmetto Florida Moose Lodge and the Valley Friends Temple Church in Londonderry.  He was a former Vinton County baseball and softball coach, enjoyed spending quality time with his grandchildren, fishing and traveling, especially going on cruises with his special group of friends.

Tommy is survived by his son, Andrew (Stephanie Tyler) Harris of Londonderry; daughters, Tanya (Rod) Denver of Gosport, England, Nancy (Ryan) Harris of Londonderry and Amy (Sam Wilson) Harris of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Tyler and Gunnar Barnett, Caiden and Madi Harris and Fin and Lilly Denver; his best friend and dog, Max; brother, Joe Stewart and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepmother, Jean Stewart; stepfather, Frank McClaskey; brother, Burman “Junior” Stewart and sisters, Carol Worrix, Patty Elkins, Cheryl Roddenberry and Mary Woltz.

Private services will be held by the family.  Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.
