Verna Pauline Stupski, 92, of Columbus, formerly of Glouster, passed away Monday, December 25, 2017 at Grant Medical Center in Columbus. She was born February 2, 1925 in Athens County, Ohio, daughter of the late Jess and Faye Antle Wemmer. Verna was the widow of the late John William Stupski.
Verna is survived by her son, John William Stupski II of Columbus; grandchildren, Chris (Jessica) Stupski of Chillicothe, John (Patricia) Stupski of Ashville and Rob (Jenny) Eberts of Glouster; great grandchildren, Chris, Michael, Kaitlyn, Riley, Jayden, Christian, Dominic and Jalynn; great great grandchildren, Trenton, Milo and Bryson; son-in-law, Bob Eberts of Glouster and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Janet Eberts and siblings, Paul, John and George Wemmer, Willie Hohman and Genie Temple.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Friday, December 29, 2017 at Cardaras Funeral Home, 30 Main St., Glouster, with Pastor David Barth officiating. Interment will be in Concord Cemetery, Glouster. Friends may call on Thursday, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
