Virginia L. Wine

Virginia L. Wine, 97, of Logan, passed away on Monday, January 27, 2025, at the Carlin House, Logan. She is now in Heaven with her Heavenly Father and her sons. Virginia was born on January 7, 1928, in West Virginia, the daughter of the late, Fleeta Ann (Flowers) O’Hara and the late Coe Oliver Mercer. Virginia was the widow of the late Howard E. Wine.

Virginia is survived by her daughter, Kay (Mike) Mercer of Logan; son, Robert (Valerie) Wine of Logan; grandchildren, Clint Mercer, Kim Mercer, Sheri Pillar, and Katie Appleton; and best friend, Phyllis Danison.

Virginia was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and sons, Larry Richard Wine and Jerry W. “Bill” Wine.

A graveside service will be held at 1:30 pm on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at Ebenezer Cemetery, Maxville.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Monday Creek Fire Department, 7560 Ohio 668, Logan, Ohio 43138.
