Wallace Bruce Darling

Wallace Bruce Darling, 79, of McArthur, passed away Friday December 6, 2019 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.  He was born September 25, 1940 in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, son of the late George W. and Mary Waddell Darling.  He was married to Thelma Young Darling, and she preceded him in death.

He was a retired Horse Trainer, and worked for Emerald Farms in Columbus.  He enjoyed watching car races, especially Sprint Cars, and he also loved watching hockey.

Wallace is survived by sons, Paul P. Darling and Phillip S. (Tarey) Darling both of Ashley; five grandchildren.

Along with his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a sister.

It was Wallace’s wish to be cremated, and private services will be held by the family at a later date.  Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 210 W. High St., McArthur.
