Walter Lee Johnston Jr., 62, of Nelsonville, passed away July 10, 2018 at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus. He was born July 7, 1956, son of the late Walter Lee Johnston and Betty Jean Hicks Johnston. He was married to Jean Hatfield Johnston of Nelsonville.

In addition to his wife, Walter is survived by his children, Walter Johnston and Carrie Humphrey both of Nelsonville and Misty Hatfield of Lexington, Kentucky; several grandchildren and a sister, Cindy Mender of Nelsonville.

No services will be observed. Arrangements are by Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville.
