Eloise Westena Collins

Eloise Westena Collins, 95, of Gulfport, Florida, passed away Tuesday, June 15, 2021, at her residence.  She was born August 11, 1925, in Hamden, Ohio, daughter of the late Frank and Mamie West Wallar.   Westena was the widow of the late Morris Sherwood Collins.

She is survived by her son, Mark (Annette) Collins of Kannapolis, North Carolina; daughters, Joy (Mark) Walerski of Gulfport, Florida, and Terry (George) Clark of North Carolina; grandchildren, Krystal (Sam) Draughn, Kevin (Lynn) Clark, Tina (Peter) Rowe and Brian (Jessica) Simcox and five great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Westena was preceded in death by one great grandson: brother, Paul Wallar and a sister, Martha Ann Rutter.

A graveside service was held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, June 23, 2021, in Elk Cemetery, McArthur.  No visitation was held.

Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.
