Willard Lewis O'Nail

Willard Lewis O’Nail, 56, of Nelsonville, passed away on June 3, 2024, at his home. He was born June 24, 1967, in Nelsonville, the son of the late Clarence Willard and Phyllis Leora (Jewett) O’Nail. He was married to the love of his life, Kelli (Lowery) O’Nail who survives.

Willard was known for his great sense of humor and loved the fast lane. He was a hard worker, working for York Township for many years, and loved being outdoors.

Willard is survived by his wife, Kelli; son, Zach Withrow; brother, Kevin O’Nail; sisters, Rhonda (Dave) Meador, Tina (Dave) Wachenschwanz, and Robbin (Tom) Baden; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to his parents, Willard was preceded in death by his sister, Reva Erwin; and great-nephew, Arlo Kachenko.

A funeral service will be held 2 pm on Friday, June 7, 2024, at the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St, Nelsonville, with Pastor Mike Thomas officiating. Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville. Visitation will be held on Thursday, from 4-7 pm and on Friday, from 1 pm until the time of the service.

Donations may be made in memory of Willard to FairHoPe Hospice, 282 Sells Rd, Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
