Willard James Provens

Willard James Provens, 81, of Logan, passed away Saturday, February 1, 2020 at his residence.  He was born February 14, 1938 in Columbus, son of the late Morland E. and Mary Davis Provens.

He formerly owned and operated Marathon Service in Lancaster and was in the National Guard.

Willard is survived by his son, Robert “Rocky” Provens of Logan; brothers, Ernest (Sandra) Provens of Valdosta, Georgia and John Oliver (Donna) Provens of Rochester, New York; sister, Nina J. Horsley of Kokomo, Indiana and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Becky Jean Provens; brother, Calvin Provens and sister, Nancy Grigsby.

No services will be held.  Arrangements are by Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of Willard James Provens to the National Arbor Association at Arbor Day Foundation, 211 N. 12 ^th St., Lincoln, Nebraska 68508.
