William "Bill" Eugene Doherty Sr.

William "Bill" Eugene Doherty Sr., 65, of McArthur, passed away Sunday, July 12, 2020, at his residence.  He was born July 21, 1954, in Canton, Ohio, son of Shirley Heiney Doherty of McArthur and the late Glenn Doherty.  Bill was married to the late Deborah Carman Doherty.

He was a United States Navy Veteran.

Bill is survived by his daughters, Cheyenne (Doug) Ferrell of Hamden, Kayla Doherty of McArthur, Dominique (Aaliyah) Doherty of McArthur and Janice Doherty of Illinois; sons, Roger “Bo” (Shannon) Skeens of California and William Eugene Doherty Jr., of Hamden; fourteen grandchildren; brothers, Michael (April) Doherty of New Marshfield and Kenneth (Loretta) Doherty of New Marshfield; sisters, Pamela Gillman of Hamden and Diane Doherty of McArthur and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Dallas Edward Doherty and Gregory Allan Doherty.

Bill’s wishes were to be cremated.  No services will be held.  Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.
