William "Bill" James Kearns

May 21, 1928 — June 14, 2017

William James Kearns, 89, of Logan, passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at Hocking Valley Community Hospital in Logan.  He was born May 21, 1928 in Point Pleasant, West Virginia, son of the late William Kassill and Neva Beam Kearns.  Bill was married to the late Leta Robertson Kearns.

He retired from Timken Roller Bearing.

Bill is survived by his sons, Michael (Pearl) Kearns of Nelsonville and John Andrew Kearns of Logan; four grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his son, William A. Kearns.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Saturday, June 17, 2017 in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, with Phil Stevens officiating.  Interment will be in New Fairview Memorial Gardens, Rockbridge.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday, one hour prior to the service.
