William “Bill” Prescott Kingsbury IV, 64, of McArthur, passed away Friday, October 9, 2020, at his residence. He was born May 20, 1956, in Columbus, Ohio, son of the late Elizabeth R. and Ned L. (Turley) Lewis. Bill was married for 26 years to Patricia “Patty” Case Kingsbury, who survives.
He formerly worked for Strawser Paving Company in Columbus and was a member of Pleasant Valley Trinity Church in Londonderry.
In addition to his wife Patty, Bill is survived by his sons, William Prescott Kingsbury V of Logan and Christian A. Kingsbury of McArthur; daughters, Megan V. Clark of Chillicothe and Sara E. Kingsbury of Zaleski; grandson, Samuel E. Kingsbury; brother, Greg (Becky) Kingsbury of Grove City; sister, Sherry “Sis” (Dave Smith) Kingsbury of Chillicothe and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 12 p.m., Tuesday, October 13, 2020 in Locust Grove Church, 26521 Locust Grove Rd., Creola, with Rev. Jim Taylor officiating. Interment will be in Locust Grove Cemetery, Creola. Friends may call at Locust Grove Church on Monday, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on Tuesday, one hour prior to the service. The family requests that you follow all Covid-19 guidelines and to please wear a mask when in attendance.
Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of William Prescott Kingsbury IV to Heartland Hospice 205 North St., Lucasville, OH 45648.
