William "Bill" R. Smith

William R. “Bill” Smith, 88, of Rockbridge, passed away, Friday, October 30, 2020, at the Pickering House in Lancaster.  He was born July 17, 1932 in Logan, Ohio.  Bill was married to the late Virginia A. “Jingle” Evans Smith.

He was a retired electrician from Winn Packaging in Cincinnati and was a Korean War Veteran of the United States Navy.

Bill is survived by his son, James “Jim” (Eileen Pine) Smith of Cincinnati; daughter, Miriam “Mimi” (Mark) Davis of Prescott Valley, Arizona; grandchildren, Anthony (Brandi) Smith and Terina (Gary) Stacy; great grandchildren, Breauna, Alexis, Olivia, Taylor, Devin, Kaelynn, Madilynn and Brandon and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife and several brothers and sisters.

No services will be held at this time.  Arrangements are by Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan.
